I have a 1995 Chrysler LHS that has a heater that works off and on. It is warm for first five minutes after car is running and then runs cold. Antifreeze level is OK. How do I make heater work?

My 98 Chrysler Cirrus LXI dies out of no where while driving, and randomly.
I can get it to drive for days and it’ll just die, and not start for the next couple of hours. (it’s not the alternator or battery, because we replaced the battery when i bought it, and power stays on, only the engine dies, nothing else.)
I’ve taken it for a diagnostics run and they told me a fuel pump, so i went out bought the fuel pump and dropped the tank, etc etc. Only to have the same problems happen to me again.
Any ideas on what this could be?
I dropped my fuel tank a second time to make sure nothing was wrong with the fuel pump and there wasn’t.
I did take it back for a second diagnostics test that was more in-depth and they told me it was either some sensor that would cost me about $50, or i might as well replace the car with the second option.
Any ideas or thought on what this might be? or how i could fix it?

been looking at information on the Tire Rack on other sites, searching for a good, all weather tire, that handles well in snow. From what I see, the Avid EnVigor has the best ratings and reviews for what I am looking for. My concern is that it is a performance tire and not a SUV tire. Other than tread wear, should I be concerned in using this tire on a Chrysler Pacifica?
