Open Question: Which should I buy Chrysler Voyager or Hyundai Trajet based on these facts?
Hi I have a question, I am planning on buying a used full sized MPV and I’m stuck between a Hyundai Trajet and a Chrysler Voyager, after reading a lot of reviews and opinions I still can’t decide which would be better. I have picked out two cars an 05 voyager 2.4 petrol with 33,000 miles on the clock and an 06 trajet 2.0 petrol with 70,000 miles on the clock. The only thing thats holding me back from the Chrysler(Which I prefer) is that I’ve heard that its both unreliable and parts are unavailable and expensive(In Ireland) as well as main dealer servicing being very expensive. wheras the Hyundai I’ve heard the opposite. Any opinions?

Open Question: Why was Fiat 500 a big disaster for Chrysler corporation in US?
Chrysler took a shot at the small car industry in US. However, they went in to design an unusually small car. Typical small cars are toyota corolla, hyundai elantra, subaru impreza, etc etc. However, Chrysler made a bold move to make an “ultra-small” car betting that it will be a major hit because of improved fuel economy. They set a starting price around 18,000 dollars and a marketing disaster followed. The Fiat main executive of US branch was fired by Chrysler in November and replaced. His career is ruined after he took a risk (hoping it would be a big success). The car has red seat interior and red dashboard and red steering wheel, which many customers complained of being very ugly. Even the brake and gas pedals were designed red (which is highly unusual). Red light came out of the internal cabin light too.
So this raises the question if bailout was necessary for Chrysler since it is still making bad decisions?
